Music talent Young Von Knows (YVK), embodies West Coast sounds that were inspired by artists from the 90's and early 2000's. Born in Long Beach, CA, year 1990, YVK grew up around a family who had a passion for music. Specifically his older brother who had a major influence on his introduction into rap and producing. By 2018, YVK was motivated to release his debut EP "Conscious State". His depth as an artist not only shows in his authentic lyrics but also as a producer. Tying his music back to his roots, YVK produces beats that have a unique jazzy soul type vibe that places his listeners on a higher frequency. YVK released his first classic album "Mo Money Mo Time" in 2020 featuring artist Polyester The Saint on song "Can't Fold".
