Quatuors pour trois instruments

Un moment musical chez les Schumann

Biography

Since 2004 Antoine Mourlas has been regularly invited to perform as a soloist or chamber musician at many international halls and festivals. His interpretations are frequently praised in the print media as well as on the radio waves of France Musique, France Inter, Orpheus Radio Russia, Polskie Radio Chopin, 100.7 Luxembourg... The International Classical Music Awards 2021 nominee, his CD « Un moment musical chez les Schumann », released by Klarthe Records won numerous awards and was acclaimed by the international press. We owe it the rediscovery of the quartet for piano four hands, violin and cello, and the research made for the "Quatuors pour trois instruments" album released by Calliope. His discography also includes French music of the beginning of the 20th century, an album with the Toldrà Quartet and 2 discs for the labels Hit Diffusion and M&O Music. In 2009 he founded the Duo Eclypse, a 4 hands / 2 pianos ensemble performing in many countries, that he formed with the pianists Maroussia Gentet and Elodie Meuret. Working with numerous composers (Philippe Hersant, Michaël Sebaoun, Matthieu Favrot...), he created and recorded several works of which he was a dedicatee. He also collaborates with the soprano Victoria Jung, the actress Agathe Delhommeau and the painter Céline Gaucher. He graduated, being unanimously awarded a prize, from the CNSMD of Paris and he is the winner of about ten international competitions.
