Known for his catchy flows, angelic vocals, and passionate lyrics, Deric, an 20-year-old rapper, singer-songwriter from Atlanta, GA is already solidifying his spot in the underground in less than two years of releasing music. Often compared to breakout stars like Lil Tecca, SSGKobe, and Pasto Flocco , Deric started rapping at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic on “pluggnb”-style beats, which were recently popularized by artists like Summrs, KANKAN , and Autumn!. Despite only being out for 2 months, his 2021 explosive single and viral sensation, “Go Anthem”, has almost 2 million plays across platforms, with the music video approaching 40,000 views. Deric’s style is partially inspired by the wide variety of artists he grew up listening to, including Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, and Drake.
