Hailing from Leeds, West Yorkshire, rapper, singer, songwriter, 90s grew up in Chapeltown – a north eastern suburb of Leeds, where he lived with his mum and younger sister. With black Jamaican heritage, the genres R&B and Reggae were always playing within his household developing 90s’ love and gift for music from the beginning, starting to sing from the age of 3 and writing his first song at the age of 8 years old. As a teenager, 90s was inspired to rap by listening to albums such as ‘Kano - Home Sweet Home’, ‘50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, ‘Lil Wayne - The Carter lll’ & ‘Chipmunk - League Of My Own’ as well as other local MC’s in his area. 2011 saw the debut release of “It Only Gets Better Vol.1” followed with IOGB Volume 2 in 2012. Hard work and dedication led him to perform at many events and venues including Leeds West Indian Carnival main stage and later play-listed on BBC Radio 1Xtra by infamous DJs; Charlie Sloth, DJTarget and Mista Jam. At the age of 25, 90s best friend tragically past away giving him a new perception of life which elevated his passion and hunger for music inspiring him to release more feel good tracks with catchy melodic choruses. His ability to rap and sing displays his versatility and uniqueness to the industry. He wants people to take positivity from his music, and promotes being self made. 90s remains an independent artist under his own label IOGB RECORDS. 2023 saw him drop his anticipated 5th project “The Game’s Changed” - Out Now!
