Coskun Umut Oruc; (born 1986, Turkey), composer, musician, medical doctor. He was born in 1986 in Turkey as a child of art-loving parents. With love of new age music, he began to play drums and keyboards at a young age and performed with various groups. In 2003, he set up a home studio to speed up music studies. He carried out his academic education as well, and graduated Faculty of Medicine, Cukurova University as an MD in 2010. In 2016, he completed his three-year work in the Department of Biochemistry, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and had a degree in Medical Biochemistry after presenting his thesis. During this period, he received special education on film music production, basic harmony and music technologies in Istanbul Modern Music Academy. In 2017, his first album "Rhythmospace" was released. In 2018, his singles ‘For a Smile’ and ‘ Apollon & Daphne’ was released in the digital platforms. In 2019, the album ‘Sun & Labor’ bir was released. Most of his works are included in international compilation albums . Oruc lives in Istanbul and keeps working on new compositions.
