Five young musicians from the Reykjavík area combine their strengths, creating a force to be reckoned with. Ólafur Kram is a creature of mystery whose music is a combination of many elements one can never quite put their finger on. Their lyrics spring from their experiences and day-to-day life but are crafted with great flair alluding to dreams and surrealism; the grotesque and the romantic in equal parts. Ólafur Kram took part in Músíktilraunir 2021 and was crowned victor. Their album nefrennsli / kossaflens was released the same summer with great reception from critics.
