Biography

The Orchestra of Rome, founded in 1990 by the merger of some of the most important associations in the Roman music scene, carries out an intense activity both in the concert field, realization and production of film music. The Orchestra produced hundreds of soundtracks with the most important and prestigious composers and directors of the Cinema industry, major Italian and foreign film production companies, producing two Oscar-winning soundtracks “Il Postino” by Luis Bacalov and “Life is Beautiful” by Nicola Piovani. A top-quality production merged with the prestige of the composers and directors who rely on its performances, makes the Orchestra of Rome the most important structure in the realization of soundtracks in Italy. Collaborations with Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov, Nicola Piovani, Riz Ortolani, Armando Trovajoli, and Charlie Haden. He also collaborates with Evan Lurie, Jean- Marie Sènia, Julian Lennon, Bob Rose, Claudio Baglioni, Renato Zero, Franco Battiato, Carmine Coppola, Francesco De Gregori, and many others.
