Rick S. or Ricardo Manuel Severino was born in Luanda, Angola, on the 18th of September 1992. The musician spent his childhood in a family environment with a rigorous education, highlighting in the early years his grandmother's teachings and his connection to religion. 
 The support to start a career in music came from his father, a former dancer, who always asked his son to fight for his dreams. At a young age, he understood that only persistence and resilience can lead people to achieve goals. In childhood and adolescence he was a fan of the great names of romantic music, especially Brazilian music such as: Zezé de Camargo, Luciano, Belo, Roberto Carlos and the Angolan Anselmo Ralph. and in America Chris Brown Usher babyface Michael Jackson. At age 16, with counseling and family support, he joined the church's choir group where he stayed for 3 years, where he worked on the vocal part and honed what he considers to be his talent. Despite releasing his first song "amor amar" recorded at the production company mareshall with the late Nguabi Montel, Rick S has always had a passion for art, this passion has been fostered within the family, with his grandfather singing and father dancing. and collector of old CD's that Rick “took” to listen with friends without his father knowing.
