Born in Paraćin (central Serbia) in the early 80s, Marčelo grew up in the politically turbulent 1990s during the breakup of Yugoslavia and the rise of authoritarian nationalism. Relocating to Belgrade, Marčelo quickly found his voice as a socially conscious Hip Hop performer, novelist and activist. His eclectic approach to musical landscaping and lyrics has seen Marcelo’s rise to one of the most influential authors in Serbia. Never one to be silenced, Marčelo has become a prolific force both in music and literature with five albums, six books and numerous side projects. Considered the voice of a lost generation, together with his comrades Nensi, DJ Raid, Ministar Lingvista and the band, Marčelo continues to expand his fanbase to people of all ages, being a positive guide on this ever-evolving journey through Serbia, the region and globally.
