Samurai Velvet is an up-and-coming duo of fresh talent based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Producer Joe Chilcott and singer Saige find inspiration from artists like SZA, James Fauntleroy and The Internet, and would classify themselves with the likes of Ravyn Lenae and the singer/producer combo Alina Baraz and Galimatias, though Samurai Velvet’s sound really is a beast of its own. Their debut EP SUEDE combines elements of nature and nightlife with Saige’s mysterious, alluring vocals and Joe’s hard-hitting electronic beats.
