Charlotta Kerbs & The Riddiments is a reggae band based in Finland. They first met in Helsinki while backing up Jamaican reggae superstar Luciano. The band accompanied Luciano and Charlotta was one of the backing vocalists. During the preparations and rehearsals for the concert Charlotta and the band found a common and true love for reggae music and The Riddiments was formed. They started out as a cover band, making reggae style arrangements on well-known pop songs. After a couple of great gigs for local audience they felt ready to release their original music. Due to the corona pandemic, the band now totally concentrates on producing and releasing their own music. Their first single Superpower was published in 2020 and second single Dreamer in early 2021. They are currently working on new material to be published in late 2021. Charlotta Kerbs is a multitalented musician who is actively touring and making music around Finland. You can hear Charlotta in her own projects and as a soloist in bands such as Afro Jazz Quintet, Helge Tallqvist Band, Pepe Deluxé. The Riddiments perform with a deep experience and groove. The band members have been playing in live bands of international reggae stars such as Luciano, Peetah Morgan and Anthony B in their gigs in Finland. They also play in many local lineups, such as Jukka Poika’s live band, The Capital Beat, Punky Reggae Band and Liljan Loisto.
