Singer, songwriter and producer Aitor Castells is one of the most mysterious figures of Spanish music. With twelve years of career behind him, half a dozen albums, two soundtracks and several collaborations, the elusive and unclassifiable minorcan artist has been building a work so eloquent that does not need more presentation than his own listening. His first three albums in Spanish, published under the heteronym Verne, have been followed by a trilogy in English where the author, surrounded by his usual team, that is, Kike Fuentes, co-producer and guitarist of the project, Marcelo Fuentes on bass and Javier "Skunk" Gómez on drums, gives free rein to his extraordinary stylistic versatility and enormous compositional talent. Apart from music, Castells has published two collections of poems and three books of aphorisms, including Aforescencias, distinguished by Esquire magazine as one of the 40 best of the year 2020.
