How it all began, Kathrin was born and raised 1987 in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania. Grown up among her peers and as such, used to bites since early childhood. The longing for unconsumed, strongly digitalized people has driven her to Central Europe. In Switzerland, she meets Mr. Messy, who, after almost 50 years of being a comic figure, has left Great Britain because of the Brexit. They decide to arrange MrMessy's songs in two different interpretations and create and establish My Sister Bytes as a parallel band. Since MrMessy has lost 18 songs in a date disaster of a harddisk fire, MrMessy only dares to do very little electronic stuff. My Sister (mega)-Bytes gladly takes over this part. MrMessy has been unaware of her intentions and methods for all the time, to become his sister, but that's another story... ;-) MrMessy is Lukas Speissegger, and this one has been a music producer for more than 20 years. His first thing was HNO with «I don’t care» in 1999 and since then there were always good things to hear like Crimer, Yes I'm Very Tired Now, Al-Berto & the fried Bikinis, MyKungFu, WolfWolf, Junes, Silberbüx and many more. Kathrin Furian studied Jazz in Lucerne and also plays in her own band Figures, or as the frontwoman of Lukka. Active also in many other projects, even conducting large choirs. This versatility suites her in every respect. She manages to call up all vocal registers, from a delicate voice to an almost distorted one.
