Danish producer Astrid Fabrin aka A. Fabrin writes songs as spiritual tributes to longing. As a former part of the experimental sound art scene in Copenhagen, Astrid is schooled in ethereal and impressionistic sounds. In 2019 she left her life in the city to move into her late mother-in-law’s old wooden house in the mountains of Mols. Astrid 's home studio is placed the middle of nature, where the enclosing winter darkness and the silence demands that one embraces it. The presence of the landscape and the four elements is mirrored in her music. In addition to her solo project, A. Fabrin works as film composer and produces a wide range of genres from neo-classical symphonies and psych folk to techno and industrial. In A. Fabrin’s own words, her style is nordic shoegaze/stoner pop, aiming for a hope towards the end.
