PPV TY born Tyaire Butler in Springfield, MA has led a colourful life (including the tragic passing of his mother when he was 15) and that's expressed fully in his genre-bending musical style. He effortlessly jumps from woozy , trap melody to The Cure/Nirvana-inspired alternative rock to traditional boom bap Golden Age-era Hip Hop without so much as a warning. With the release of his 2016 album Every Fan..Every Hater..Thank You he began his descent into the madness of his creativity and all his 2017 EP Filthy Hippy did was expand on that quick and loose ethos of pot smoking, finding your place in the world and dealing with all the pain life can bring - with a side of flexing of course. The sky is the limit and we'll see what the Filthy Hippy has to offer next.
