J.Smo is a multi-faceted creative, musicpreneur, adjunct professor, supportive husband, and father of 3. He began releasing music digitally in 1999 as Hip Hop collective B.U.N.K.S., based in Manchester, Tennessee (the home of Bonnaroo). Now in Sacramento wearing many hats, J.Smo has been working on his full length solo album, The Joshua Story (Earth Bound Mix); a 13 track album hand crafted by the creative mastermind Quique Cruz based in Santa Ana, California. Quique composed the music around J.Smo's acapella recordings, an unorthodox approach to everything else in J.Smo's discography.
