EL BENTLY 448 is a vanguard Hip Hop artist, inspired by poetry, philosophy, world history, and Black-led social justice movements. Born in Flint, Michigan, EL BENTLY 448 was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison in 1999. Now 25 years later, he has been fully exonerated, and has emerged from the tomb of prison with a powerful musical message for the world. His EP "INNOCENT BORN GUILTY" with Die Jim Crow Records is a score for exoneration, a soundtrack for freedom fighters, a call to action for those unjustly incarcerated. A prophetic lyricist and uniquely emotional performer, he captures the radical energy of artists such as Tupac Shakur, or DMX. EL BENTLY 448 also transcends his role as emcee and musician.
