Musician and music producer born and raised in Colombia and now based in Australia. Also known as the leader of popular latin alternative acts such Amaru Tribe and ARIA Nominated band Watussi, Oscar is a multitalented and polifacetic artist who has performed in Festivals around the world (Womadelaide, Bluesfest, SXSW2019) and opened for artist such as Santana, Seun Kuti, Manu Chao, Juan Luis Guerra and more. He has been twice Winner of the International Songwriting Competition in the Latin Category (ISC 2012 and 2016) both releases of his solo releases as singer songwriter. This year Oscar released his new solo EP Oscar Jimenez & Phonoclórica in collaboration with Colombian afro-jazz band Phonoclórica from Bogota.
