Brais González is a Spanish pianist and composer. Trained as a classical pianist at the conservatories of Salzburg, Vigo and Oviedo, with an extensive background of awards in international competitions, his career has always been divided between his work as a performer and his compositional work. His solo albums synthesize these two worlds. In these works, Brais presents a journey through landscapes inspired by classical music as well as popular music, with a strong influence of improvised music and the use of electronics and field recordings. His concert works have been performed in almost twenty European and American countries and his audiovisual works have been used in productions in the USA, Russia, Japan and Germany.
