Johannesburg born artist formally known as “Kat Kodis” is a Songwriter/Recording artist and performer. His motive is all about pioneering new waves in the culture through the music and other forms of entertainment as he is multi-talented. Being exposed to harsh environments filled with drugs, gangsterism and many forms of criminal activities he found his way to dodge the typical ghetto band wagon. Started recording music in 2016 while in High School although has been involved in music and sorts from elementary school. Ever since the first release in 2016 he has never looked back. Kodis also indulges in Dancing, Acting, Presenting & MC'ing which induces an exceptional manner of performing to his set of skills. He was inspired and highly influenced by Kwaito; Kasi Rap; Hip Hop and House music which sees him working smart to fuse these sounds into his catalogue. Kat has took part in the AMPED AFRICA high school competition, was nominated for the 011 City Awards in 2020. This artist aims to finesse his way into the entertainment industry through groundbreaking lengths of artistry and have a pop that will definitely shift the culture.
