Menzi Zungu, better known as Menzii, is a South African singer-songwriter, born and raised in the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal and is now based in Durban. His sound is a blend of genres with alternative urban contemporary which can be heard through memorable melodies and honest narratives. He creates a range of genre-bending music, accommpanied by sultry vocals and honest lyricism. He is best known for his alternative soul music, afro house and afro soul songs as well as other work he has contributed towards in the form of features with different collaborators in the spheres of hip-hop, trapsoul, afro house, amapiano and R&B. As he continues to create more music overtime, he seeks to define South African music for himself and in doing so redefine South African music for his audience.
