Paula Barranco is a jazz singer and big band arranger from Barcelona. She graduated in jazz singing and modern music performance at the Conservatori del Liceu (2021). She has studied with great references of Catalan jazz such as Carme Canela, Celeste Alías and Juliane Heinemann. She is part of the BLAM Collective (2021) directed by Michael League (leader and bassist of Snarky Puppy). She has recorded 8 albums and her EP Out Loud (2021). She currently leads her own jazz quartet and co-leads the duo with Jan Domènech (voice and piano) and the duo with Sergio Jaubert (voice and guitar); and is part of various musical projects. She arranges and directs her own Big Band, with a repertoire dedicated to Billie Holiday premiered at the 50th Festival Nits amb Jazz a Cardedeu (2021).
