PAPPYKOJO The synonymy of music to Pappykojo’s life is fundamental. Discovering his inclination to imitate, replicate and create music early, young Pappy (born Jason Gaisie) wasted little time delving in. Surrounded by a doting grandma and parents. Pappykojo had enough support to serve as a springboard for his music career.His infectious jovial spirit is also evident in his flow. A flow garnered from piecing together bits of his childhood in Takoradi, Ghana and Verona, Italy. This facilitated his meteoric rise to fame, he came to the forefront of African music after releasing hits like, Realer No, Ay3 Late and Awo’a and then went on a year long hiatus. After he took a break from music to find himself and grow, he released M’akoma a smooth infectious love ballad that won an award for the best photography in a music video at the 2017 MTN 4syte Music Video Awards. He dropped the globally acclaimed hit Akwaaba with GuiltyBeatz, Patapaa and Mr Eazi in 2018 and started this year right with the release of the first single off his highly anticipated debut Album Logos II ; Balance featuring Joey B and Nshona Muzick.
