Biography

20 East is an American hip hop trio based out of Atlanta, Georgia, composed of Atlanta based Rappers Kiante “ Mook ” Allen, Donnie “6ixx” Thomas (Formerly known as Champ), and Michael “Uptown” Anderson. The group (formerly known as Main Event) formed in high school in 2010 and has dropped a collection of EP’s such as “Headaches and Mixtapes” and “The art of enigma”. The trio has used the influence of rappers such as OutKast, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Travis Scott, and Tupac to create a sound that not only pays homage to the ones who came before but also is accepted by a new era of fans. 20 East is not simply just a group of rappers. They are artist who have made an importance to keep hip hop a force in the music industry.
