J. Stokes Bio Jamal Stokes better known as "J.Stokes" was born April 26, 1992. He is an upcoming artist from Tuscaloosa, Al.  He Began rapping at the age of 8 and was influenced by Cash Money (Hot Boyz) and No Limit. He first recorded his songs on a karaoke machine using cassette tapes and started a group of his own with friends. At the age of 13, he recorded his first official song in a home studio. He formed a group with his 2 close friends at the time and dropped a mixtape in 2006. In 2007, The group won 1st place in a talent show and recieved $500 and free studio time. In 2008, as a sophmore at Northridge High School, he became known off his song he made for the basketball team. Classmates became instant fans and was very supportive. Along the journey he continues to drop more music and increasing his fan base.
