Chris Leon, record producer, DJ, and A&R for Villahangar Records, has returned after a brief hiatus. In 2022, Chris Leon embarked on a solo journey that proved fruitful: in January 2023, his remix of Come Find Me was released under the Villahangar label. This remix gained further recognition when it was included in the prestigious BUDDHA BAR SUMMER 2023 compilation, released in August of the same year. In December 2023, Chris Leon released his single Nomkhubulwane on Villahangar Records, achieving unexpected success. The track reached the top 10 on Traxsource AFRO HOUSE and Beatport. In September 2024, the remix of Chichen Itza by MGDC was released, created in collaboration between Chris Leon and Matt Sawyer, one of the founders of Villahangar, further enriching the label's catalog. As 2024 progresses, Chris Leon is preparing for new and exciting releases and collaborations, demonstrating his dedication to pushing musical boundaries. Looking ahead to 2025, several projects are already in development and set to be unveiled soon. At the same time, he continues to contribute to the music industry as A&R for the VH label, which is experiencing remarkable success. The Everything Counts project, born from the collaboration between Chris Leon and Teodora, represents a significant chapter in his artistic career. From 2018 to 2022, Everything Counts made its mark by releasing captivating music on prestigious labels such as Moblack, Buddha Bar, Connected, Wired, and many others.
