The name Z-Dougie goes back to a middle school nickname, and in combination with his roots in appreciating hip-hop, formed the basis for the project: an authentic bridge between Rap/Hip-Hop/Trap music and the emergent innovation of Electronic Bass Music. Z-Dougie has smashed and twisted together many different sub-genres of Dubstep, Trap, and House while always staying in touch with his OG Memphis sound. Known for his Hip-Hop flips, hybrid sound, and high-energy performances you can expect a party anytime his name comes up.
