Mark's recent release 'Monotone Symphonies' is an homage to perhaps the original ambient composition by artist Yves Klein. A recording artist with a wide range of musical influences and interests, from pop to jazz, as well as minimalist and experimental instrumental music, Mark has produced music crossing the boundaries of multiple genres, as a composer, songwriter, performer, and producer. His original music has been featured on NPR, Sirius radio, Hearts of Space, and Echoes, among others, as well as use in film and television. Mark's earliest collaborations and recordings included co-writing a Latin jazz instrumental with Germaine Franco, titled 'En La Calle', and his first album titled 'Lost in America' which featured Kirk Whalum on sax. Next on the horizon is the upcoming release of a new jazz album, 'Portraits - featuring Adalia Tara', showcasing the powerful and sultry vocal talent of Adalia.
