@hyppodrome is one of musical brainchildren of the Italian born entrepreneur, producer, and artist Mattia Settimelli Born in 2009 as a London-based record label, it worked as a vehicle for his own prod. (MiamiPurpleResort , Mattia Settimelli, Manyk ) and for his artist’s roster, paired with the H2 Records sub-label. Mattia composes, writes and produces music since a young age, but his recent production journey started in 2006 with indie-rock, pop and house collabo. Working in entertainment&media his whole life, Mattia lived&worked in China, Uk, Germany, US, Spain and Italy, switching different roles. He took a break from music in 2013, shutting down the label and focusing on his other business projects (video, tech & marketing). He kept Hyppodrome as pseudonym and started producing again In Barcelona in 2016, renewing his distribution deal with Zebralution (Polygram/Universal distribution). Mattia produced music&music videos for many brands, from Melià Hotels to Expedia, from Comune di Roma, RAI, Sky, Allmusic, Rai International, Mediaset, RDS and more, and his music has been licensed by Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, ABC, Disney Channel and BBC. Today he invest his time in businesses and startups, other than shooting videos and writing books and blogs.
