Lewis M. is a nerd. He's also a MC, beatmaker, poet, educator, and 3-time Uno World Champion. Born & raised in Providence, RI, Lewis discovered a love for music, performance, and art at a young age. From preaching sermons at his church at the age of ten, to performing slam poetry at The Apollo Theater and The Smithsonian at the age of sixteen, Lewis grew passionate about self expression. 
 Since then, he has traveled around the country to share his work, taught at schools and universities, performed at the United Nations, and has been featured in two TEDx Talks (TEDxBoston 2011 and TEDxVail 2015). He'd soon turn his focus to music production and hip-hop, combining raw soulful beats with emotionally honest lyricism. Since then, he has released five albums. His most recent, "Don't Be Nice.", was released in August 2020. 
 Most recently, he was chosen as the Teaching Artist-In-Residence for MassArt's Center for Art & Community Partnerships, bringing his talents to the campus to help teach art and performance to inner city youth. Lewis lives in Boston, MA with his partner and his dog.
