Majahawodwa Ndlovu popularly known as Jeys Marabini was born in Filabusi and is the seventh child in a family of nine(9) boys. He attended his Tertiary and Secondary education at Dekezi Primary and Secondary Schools. His musical background can be traced from Secondary School, but it was until 1991 at the age of 20 he decided to become a professional musician He then performed with Comforting Brothers acapella group, which later changed its name to Imbizo. Jeys Marabini a multiple Award winning Artist, over 3 decades a philanthropist whom in January 2023 was Awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award. Well-travelled artist has been in America, Austria, Canada, India, South Africa and many more. He has performed with the finest and greatest Peter Gabriel, Oliver Mtukudzi, Hugh Masekela, Nana Coyote of Stimela, Ringo Madlingozi, Soweto String Quartet, Zahara and Ladysmith Black Mambazo just to mention a few.
