WotD grew from a love of lo-fi music and electronic culture between artists spread across Ireland France and New York. Style has no limit, these guys take in elements from broken beat, jazz, downtempo, techno, electronica, psyche, breakbeat and pretty much anything that opposes the mainstream beige cliches of modern music. WotD are composed of DJ/Producer/Engineers/Musicians Jonny Mac Derry/Ireland, Sean Graham, Coventry / UK & Mike and Nick Rufolo NYC/USA. Their backgrounds have fed into a decade of DJ shows touring gigs & collaborations with acclaimed artists from such bands as Orbital, The Prodigy, The Happy Mondays, Pop Will Eat Itself, EMF, Shawn Lee, Saint Etienne, DJ Food, Amon Tobin & more. The past 4 Ep’s have had major support all across BBC 6Music, BBC Radio1 also the mighty KEXP have been getting in on the act, Not missing out on the remix game themselves with both Jonny & Sean having spent a few decades on the club scene they’ve officially remixed for Lisbon Kid Ft Sarah Cracknell (St Etienne) on Wall of Sound, James Atkin (EMF) & Pop Will Eat Itself. With the first album due for release in January 2018 things are looking good for WotD and like the name of the first EP suggests The Future Is Ours. You can listen to the same old tired shit being churned out telling you that “this time it’s different”, or you can march forwards, cans on ears, knowing that this time, music really is here to set you free cause the “Warriors have come out to play”!!!
