Armand van Wijck is a chromatic harmonica and Indonesian bamboo flute player from the Netherlands. He is currently based in Stockholm (SE). Armand's background is a mix of Indo-Dutch-Creole heritage, which has always fueled his interest in blending modern jazz with diverse musical traditions. The rhythm section of his modern jazz quartet consists of Axel Liliedahl Nordström on piano, Björn Petersson on double bass and Johan Björklund on drums. Their first album, Nothing to Declare, has been released on Howling Jazz in April 2024. It also features renowned Swedish folk artist Magdalena Eriksson on violin and vocals.
