Bak Santo Akuei (born 21, July 2001), known professionally as Iduzeer and often referred to as Idu Man, is a South Sudanese Rapper, Singer, and Songwriter. He is currently based in Nairobi Kenya and signed to Jokma Era record Label. Iduzeer is known for his debut EP “Zeer Mentality” which he released in 2022 August. He came up with his own music style known as Gothic hip-hop rap where the rapper could rap in Arabic, Swahili, and English. Iduzeer has gained a good following in the East African region making him the first South Sudanese solo hip-hop rapper to reach a combined total of five million views thus, making him one of the most unique Hip-Hop rappers from Africa. EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION: Iduzeer was born in Sudan’s main city of Khartoum, but because of the unrest there, his family was forced to leave and immigrate to Egypt. He had profound spiritual and religious knowledge while growing up in Egypt, which significantly influenced his beliefs and faith being a musician. He started his music career in 2015 when he went to Nairobi Kenya to finish his high school education at Langata Boys High school where he met his manager Slambozeer, who is the man behind his music videos’ visuals and online success. Iduzeer currently resides in Nairobi, Kenya, where he is studying for a bachelor of business information and technology at Riara university.
