Chime Garlands aka Benjamin learned to play the piano & the drums when he was a kid. After playing in numerous bands, he discovered the world of electronic music in 2011 and taught himself how to produce his own tracks. One year later he started to release his first tunes under the moniker 'Nimanslin'. He got signed by different labels in 2013 and released several Drum & Bass and Ambient albums. In early 2015 Benjamin decided to start something fresh - he wanted to redefine himself as an artist by changing his name to 'Chime Garlands'. Benjamin explored the genres of House, Techno, Industrial, Acid & Trance and implemented them into his own work. His focus is the connection of organic sounds and electronic soundscapes. The ambivalence of raw, energetic elements and melancholic chord progressions is something he carried with him - and with every step as an artist. He describes his own music as 'dancy, fierce, melancholic and everything in between'.
