Edinho Queirós began his career as a crooner in 1977, gaining prominence in the Alcano Group in Recife from 1983 to 1987. He recorded the vinyl "Viajar" in 1985, marking his debut as a composer. His solo career started in 1988 with "Sabor de Uva" and "Diga pra Mim" in 1990, both recorded in Rio de Janeiro. In 1994, he moved to Florence, Italy, releasing "Te Quero" as part of the Norby project. In the year 2000, still in Italy, he released the album "Macau," featuring significant collaborations with Jorge Vercillo and Sérgio Natureza. He returned to Brazil in 2004, focusing on Afro-Pernambucan roots. In 2015, he launched "Se Você Acreditasse em Mim" with Moreno Veloso and the "Mantropical" project. In 2017, he released "Saudade Doida" and "Coração Sonhador." Recently, Edinho Queirós released 'Tilintando,' a single that blends Galope, Rock, and Frevo in partnership with Chandramukha Swami. Throughout his career, Edinho Queirós has been awarded at festivals, including first place at the Festival de Angra dos Reis-RJ in 2007 with 'Meu Maracatu' and at the Frevo Festival, earning recognition for compositions like "Sabor de Rum Hortelã Café" and "O Último Raio da Lua."
