Kito Denham (a.k.a. Mayh3m!) was born in Sacramento CA in the fall of 1979. The youngest of four boys, Mayh3m! quickly began to learn the ways of the world from his parents and older brothers. Music always was a big part of life growing up in a house full of artists, musicians and singers. Born in Sacramento, CA. at Mather Air Force Base immediately after his mother and father landed back in the U.S. from Okinawa, Japan. Mayh3m! was introduced to his brothers (who were already back in Ohio) once his mother returned from California. The street culture (known now as hip-hop) intrigued the young boys and they quickly became wrapped up in the art-forms of breaking, graffiti, rhyming and deejaying. Recording and performing with the family band, Mayh3m! explored playing electric guitar and then eventually gravitating to keyboards. Started performing with Tony West & The Imani Dancers in 1988 and traveled the country playing African drums and percussion. By the age of 13, Mayh3m! had already become a very talented musician and writer. With early rap groups with long-time friends (Napp-E-Headz) to more of a polished crew (Da Gladiators) in high school. The first professional studio sessions came in 1998 with Da Gladiators recording their first few songs including "Da Gauntlet". After some years in college at The University of Detroit Mercy, Mayh3m! found himself back in Columbus, Ohio making music and deejaying.
