Vincent Claudius is a multi-talented singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and Music producer born in Lusaka, Zambia. Born 18th August 1996, Chembe Vincent Banda goes by a combination of his Middle name ‘Vincent’(inherited from his grandfather) and He’s Father’s first name ‘Claudius’. He began making music at a very rare age of 6 and was popular among peers and school mates for his musical talents and school performances. He pursued a professional mucic career as a singer-songwriter then being known as ‘Vinny boy.’ After a series of single releases, working with popular acts such as Jae Cash and Slapdee, Vincent released two EPs. In 2017 Vincent dropped his first globally distributed EP Titled ‘21’ as he turned 21 that year and that was the last year of him using the stage name ‘Vinny Boy’. In 2018, Vincent officially changed His stage name from ‘Vinny Boy’ to Vincent Claudius. Vincent creates Soulful R&b led music and is greatly inspired by late 90’s and early 2000s music, He grew up on music by artists such as Babyface, Joe Thomas, Boyz ii Men, Brandy and Local legends like JK and Exile. Vincent Claudius has done songs like Happy Place, Better Than Me, and released he’s 3rd studio EP titled R&b Hearted and this was his first project using the name Vincent Claudius, 2021. He has worked with internationally recognized acts like Chanda Mbao and channel O award winning ‘Tim’ of Zone Fam and several locally renowned acts like Jae Cash, Kunkeyani Tha Jedi, Cinori Xo among others.
