S.Cams is a DFW based, multi genre recording artist. From gritty trap track ‘Slick’ to heartfelt R&B anthem ‘Better Me W/O You’, S.Cams can be counted on for his truth-bomb lyrics and versatile flow. His debut album ‘The Music Inside My Head’ was reproduced from memory in 2019 after the original demos were stolen. Began making music in the early 2000s. S.Cams was featured on some local mixtapes early on in his career like Fort Worth Got Next, Fort Worth Got Next 2.5, and Tax Evading Mix Tape. Took a ten year hiatus, only to re-emerge to the scene revitalized and with a renewed passion. S.Cams finds making music almost as important as breathing: “Music is the spice of life. It brings me so much energy and joy. It brings me a sense of purpose and makes me feel like I’m where I belong. It’s therapeutic, it allows me to vent and express myself. My lyrics are very honest.” Born in Fort Worth, and the youngest of eight children, the Mexican-American artist grew up inspired by all genres, from classic oldies and Latin music to Tupac and Alanis Morisette.
