Alice Luke is a singer/songwriter from Santa Clara, CA with a love for the poetic lyricism of folk and the upbeat instrumentals of modern pop-rock. Her songs showcase a lyrical reflection on the fluctuations of youth and a sonic expression of optimism and curiosity in the experience of watching words form and life unfold. Her interest in music began at a young age as she gathered inspiration from some of her favorite artists including Taylor Swift, Jack Johnson, and the Grateful Dead. In college, she began writing her own songs and graduated with a minor in songwriting from the Thornton School of Music at USC. While in school, she began performing at neighborhood shows and campus events, inspiring a love for collaboration and performance in a full band arrangement. Her second single, “Hurricane,” was released on August 16th, 2024.
