Well, I lost myself in music… Listening to music to me was pure redemption from being at school. My Dad had a record-store and the magazines showed me: the coolest dude in the world was the Bass-Player for Duran Duran.Bass.This really is the instrument that made such an impact in my life. I began a career in music-industry even while everybody else became engineers and such.I wished to unhinge the world for God.To play Bass, to sing, writing songs and to think about the meaning of life with people in general… To live this life together with my wife (who, of course, is a singer). „Mr Lauer“, he’s got a day-time-job, he’s doin’ all right… (by the words of the Dire Straits) Well, what unhinged my world was to become a Dad myself and to look into my kids’ eyes.. But… quite honest? Even today I struggle with this „Dad-husband-with-a-day-time-job vs.who I always imagined I would be“ Do you know this, too?
