Originally from India, Shakthi Prasad KT aka ˈKōdəh is an Electronic Music Artist, Audio Engineer, Record Producer, and a Drummer, currently based in Spain. He is highly active in the Bangalore music scene with his bands since 2008. A trained Carnatic musician, he started his music career in 2009 as drummer for Bangalore based progressive metal band, Distortion culture. He is the co-founder of progressive rock band - Dark Light and later became a part of funk rock group named, 4 Left Feet, along with releasing their albums from 2017 to 2019, Shakthi worked as a freelance session drummer for many artists and also taught drums at Trill Route Music School in Bangalore. In subsequent years, he has performed hundreds of live shows, co-composed and released various songs with leading artists in the industry. In 2019, he began his journey of exploring electronic music production and sound design; which lead him to discover his new ambient and experimental electronic artist identity. He now goes by the artist name ˈKōdəh. Shakthi is heavily inspired by experimental and ambient electronic music artists like Thom Yorke, Apparat, Atoms for peace, Flying lotus, Machine drums, Ólafur Arnalds, Lapalux, NIN etc and blends the style of his influences with his previous experience as a progressive rock, progressive metal and rock music artist. His debut single "Swerve" featuring LA based musician KEANA is released worldwide on the 4th January 2021.
