Born Ferry van Willigen, Mafe has been on any Dutch hip-hop fan’s radar since proving his worth as a member of Lefensmannen, one of Ronnie Flex’s collectives. After 2015 proved a busy year for the Dutch singer/rapper with features on Def Major & Murda Turk’s ‘Traffic’, FeestDJRuud, JeBroer & Cartiez’s ‘Duizend Nachten’ and Monica Geuze’s ‘Laten Gaan’ (over 12 million views on YouTube), he followed in the footsteps of the likes of Mr. Polska and Kraantje Pappie by creating a summer anthem (in tandem with ChildsPlay) for travel organization Totally Summer in 2016. Never one to slow down, Mafe soon followed it up with debut single ‘Niet Van Mij Alleen’, with none other than Boef as featuring artist, production from Jack $hirak and the total amount of YouTube views and Spotify streams crossing the six million mark. Now fresh from touring with Ronnie Flex and dropping second single ‘On My Way’, Mafe is hell-bent on making every second count and ready to build on all he’s already accomplished as one of the bright stars on the TRIFECTA roster.
