Born in '91 means being just old enough to miss the golden age. Almost the opposite of De Ja Vu: craving a feeling one can't quite remember and, to be honest, never truly experienced. Somewhere in between Gen X and a millennial. Searching. Seeking. Not sure exactly what for. In his blind pursuit, B.Well found guidance in Hip-Hop. In 2013 B became the change he wanted to see in music. Combining his passion for music and the feeling that the virtues he grew up on were slipping out of mainstream popularity led Billy to create Highzmen records and start putting his all into his music.

 Since The Heights released in early 2016 Highzmen has risen to the top of Des Moines Hip Hop scene. Having performed over 50 shows in his short career. B describes his sound as alternative Hip Hop, there are obvious pop elements but the overall message is never compromised.
