 Born in Salinas (CA), Gold Silk Fredo moved and was raised in Avondale, Arizona. There, he found his passion for music, and it didn’t take long before he started to make his own! He has been influenced by artists as diverse as 2Pac, George Clinton & Parliment Funkadelic , as well as modern icons like Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussel, Boogie or Ty Dolla $ign only to name a few. 
 His music comes from a deeply personal place. Fredo doesn’t just aim to entertain his listeners with the fun club bangers, but to share his story and emotion through his music, being very open about his emotions, his inner struggle, and his life in general.
