Until her early twenties she’s found herself on the traditional path of an immigrant mother’s daughter - going to school and getting diplomas to set herself up for a path that would seem desirable. It wasn’t until her heart was woken up, that she decided to turn around and create a life that reflected her true desires. Omara Lua writes and sings.
