Karhys is a Maltese Italian songwriter, singer and producer based in Milan, Italy. She was trained as a classical pianist at the conservatory of her hometown where she graduated at 19. Growing up, she discovered her passion for songwriting and singing, as she would secretly write songs in her bedroom. Karhys released a 6 track EP Insight (Beyond My Eyes) produced by Figùra in March 2019, which was well received by the Italian press (Rolling Stone). In February 2021, Karhys released her first album - Stuck - which was acclaimed for its strong pop melodies and elegance. In June 2024, Karhys released her second album 'Late Bloomer' - a pop/r&b record which she wrote and partly produced herself.
