Two years ago, Uzul released Evolve, his first solo album on Jarring Effects. A record which abolished the boundaries between musical aesthetics and which traced the evolution of his music, his life and his influences. Today, he returns with a bang to Slab Note, the techno branch of the record label Jarring Effects, for a digital opus full of maturity entitled Grow. This new album marks a new chapter in Uzul’s life. Indeed, at the dawn of his fifty years, Uzul sees the birth of his son. Having designed this new album at the same time as his child, the analogy with plants seemed obvious to him. The tree, grown from the seed, is a symbol of life, growth and longevity. The child is also like a plant grown from seed that will grow over time. Growing up in this world damaged by man and his pollution, where collective consciousness must evolve so that young people can flourish on a prosperous planet where nature is placed at the center. It is therefore in the world of plants that Uzul imagines his decorum to present this album, composed of ten futuristic techno tracks full of maturity.
