Jayef Kay is a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and mixing/mastering engineer from Northern Germany. Jayef Kay started writing his first songs in 2014. His first recorded songs were published in 2016 on his YouTube channel. His focus lies on catchy hooks, meaningful and professional lyrics and his unique sound. With his producer and real-life friend Emseq they form their team named "Doing It To Death". Jayef Kay has released his debut album "2020" on November 25th, 2022. With three video singles, the young rapper presents 16 songs, which, when listened to chronologically, represent a section of his life from September 2019 to December 2020 and thus a time full of heartbreak, drug abuse and psychological stress. In cooperation with german producer Emseq they form their team „DITD“ which stands for their life motto „Doing It To Death“.
