Curtis Foster is an alternative hip-hop artist with his roots planted firmly in Chicago. He meticulously crafts his tracks to showcase versatility in rhythm and melody, resulting in a recognizable sound that's consistent yet versatile. From an early age he was drawn to music as a means of both expression and comfort, finding relatability in words penned by his favorite artists. The first act whose discography he immersed himself in was Linkin Park, which was the catalyst for him to branch out further into the realms of hip-hop and hard rock music. He fell in love with the creative wordplay and storytelling that was so prominent in rapping. This, in conjunction with the way a lyricist could relate their personal struggles on a level where so many could relate, drew Foster into writing his own lyrics, and eventually recording and releasing songs for the world to hear. As a teenager, Foster began battling depression and anxiety. He found that one thing seemed to help him manage his daily struggles and ordeals more than anything else: music. Through sleepless nights and never-ending days, it was the beacon of light that always got him through. In turn his mission is to inspire others through his art; to offer a message of perseverance and confidence.
